About this piece
The frame is solid mvule, a hardwood that stands up to sun and rain, and the back and sides are wrapped by hand in charcoal rope. The seat and back cushions are quick-dry foam in removable covers. It can stay on a covered veranda all year, with the cushions brought in during the long rains.
- Materials
- Solid mvule frame, oiled. Polyester rope. Quick-dry foam cushions with solution-dyed acrylic covers.
- Care
- Brush off dust and leaves. Wash the covers at 30 degrees. Oil the frame twice a year, and more often at the coast.
